Preservation
How preservation could save us.

One thing that could definitely change things in our scene is Preservation.
Let's face it, in this day and age, life online has become all about survival. Techno and any underground movement wasn't designed for social media, and will never be. You might think that this is a very sharp quotation, but think about it: whatever works on those platforms is never about the music, but rather about the action that gets the attention of the people. The struggle for artists who don't want to spend their entire day getting more followers and engagement is real, and whether you love to do it, or hate it, what I said before won't change: most people will follow an idea of the artist rather than their skills.
Where I want to go with this is a place where we don't have to forcefully create dumb content, but rather use the platform to our advantage, yes, promote your music, push your music out there, but at the same time create a structure to preserve the passion you have. This is one main option to create some sort of "white influence."
Create content based on your favorite discoveries, push music that deserves to be listened, in this day and age, you could make a simple podcast on your own, a chart, a best of the month, Focus on an artist, Focus on a Label, who are the best artists to mix music very well, who are your inspirations, you see where i am going? Doesn't matter exactly what you do; what matters is the fact that you preserve a piece of your knowledge and you share it with the people out there.
This has to be a very effective way to push the younger generation to know more and discover something useful. Other than the latest TikTok dance with the most horrible music you have ever heard, is ok to like bad music, but it's not fully ok to have the entire platform flooded by it. Remember, humans are very simple creatures. If a small group creates a small community within your channels, others will join, and more will discover your passion.
Talking about me, if i had the time needed, I would definitely start a series of focus on artists, and discover their discography with reels, stories, or simple posts. Unfortunately, i am not able to do it, but i am definitely spending some time on it in periods where I have less work with the label.
I hope you got my points, and this post inspires you to start your own way to preserve the Culture.
